Job Description: Fire Alarm Technician
Location: Dubai, UAE
Vacancies: 10
Salary: AED 2,300 – AED 3,000 per month + Site Allowance
Qualification: ITI/Diploma in Electrical Engineering
Experience: 2-3 years (installation and maintenance of fire alarm systems)
Preferred: UAE Driving License
Responsibilities:
Installation of Fire Alarm Systems: Install and configure fire alarm systems, including control panels, smoke detectors, fire alarm circuits, and other associated components, as per safety and industry standards.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform regular maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of fire alarm systems to ensure functionality. Identify faults, diagnose problems, and take necessary action to resolve issues effectively.
System Testing and Commissioning: Test the fire alarm systems after installation and during periodic maintenance, ensuring proper functionality and compliance with local safety standards and regulations.
System Upgrades & Modifications: Upgrade and modify existing fire alarm systems to improve performance and meet the latest safety standards or client requirements.
Emergency Support: Respond to emergency calls and provide prompt solutions for fire alarm system failures or malfunctions.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and service history. Prepare and submit reports to supervisors and clients regarding service details, status, and recommendations.
Compliance with Safety Standards: Ensure all installations and maintenance services are compliant with local regulations, codes, and standards related to fire safety.
Customer Interaction: Interact with clients to understand their needs, provide updates on system status, and offer advice on system functionality and maintenance.
Requirements:
Qualification:
ITI or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
Experience:
2-3 years of hands-on experience in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of fire alarm systems, preferably in the UAE.
Skills:
Knowledge of fire alarm systems, including wiring, testing, and maintenance of smoke detectors, control panels, and other fire safety equipment.
Driving License:
UAE Driving License holders preferred for site visits and travel between client locations.
Communication Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to work in challenging and physically demanding environments, including high-rise buildings or construction sites.
