Job Description – Quantity Surveyor (Qatar)
Position: Quantity Surveyor
Number of Vacancies: 1
Location: Qatar
Qualification: B.E Mechanical / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Experience Required: 10 to 15 years

Job Responsibilities:
Prepare and manage project cost estimates, budgets, and cash flow forecasts.
Conduct quantity take-offs and material estimations for mechanical works.
Evaluate and manage subcontractor and supplier quotations.
Prepare and review contracts, variations, and claims in line with project requirements.
Monitor project progress and ensure cost control measures are in place.
Coordinate with project teams to verify work progress and prepare interim payment applications.
Analyze and resolve contractual disputes and claims.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, contractual obligations, and local regulations.
Provide cost analysis and reports to management for decision-making.
Participate in procurement and tendering processes.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of cost estimation, budgeting, and contract administration.
Familiarity with FIDIC contracts and Qatar construction regulations.
Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and QS software (e.g., CostX, Primavera).
Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Preferred Requirements:
Experience in mechanical construction projects, including MEP, pipelines, or industrial facilities.
GCC experience is an advantage.
Valid Qatar driving license preferred.
