Qualifications & Experience:
Qualification: B.E. in Mechanical Engineering
Experience: 14 to 15 years of relevant experience in workshop management
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the workshop, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
Manage a team of technicians, supervisors, and support staff to maintain high performance.
Plan, schedule, and supervise maintenance, repairs, and servicing of heavy equipment, machinery, and vehicles.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
Monitor and control workshop budgets, costs, and resource allocation.
Maintain inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment, ensuring timely procurement.
Diagnose technical issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
Develop and implement maintenance schedules and preventive maintenance programs.
Conduct performance evaluations and training programs for workshop staff.
Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
Prepare and present reports on workshop performance, maintenance activities, and cost analysis.

In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and maintenance techniques.
Proficiency in workshop management software and ERP systems.
