Job Description: Senior Planning Engineer
Location: Qatar

Qualification: B.E. Mechanical Engineering
Experience: 13 to 15 years

Job Responsibilities:
Develop, monitor, and update project schedules using Primavera P6 or equivalent planning tools.
Ensure project timelines align with contractual requirements and client expectations.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to assess progress and identify potential delays.
Conduct critical path analysis and propose mitigation strategies for schedule deviations.
Prepare and present project progress reports, dashboards, and forecasts to senior management.
Evaluate resource allocation and ensure optimal utilization for timely project completion.
Implement earned value management (EVM) techniques to track project performance.
Identify risks impacting project schedules and develop contingency plans.
Assist in claims and extension of time (EOT) submissions by providing necessary planning data.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
Key Requirements:
Strong proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and other planning tools.
Excellent understanding of project management principles and contract administration.
Experience in construction, oil & gas, or infrastructure projects preferred.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
